Perimenopause is the time during which the body transitions to menopause which is the end of periods.
Perimenopause symptoms can occur from mid to late 30s and includes:
-
changes in menstrual cycle - i.e. shorter, longer, heavier periods,
-
fatigue, brain fog, insomnia,
-
joint and muscle aches,
-
sleep and mood changes
-
skin and eye dryness.
We provide individualised treatment plans focused on the pillars of health and wellbeing, body identical hormone replacement therapy and evidence-based herbal/nutritional support.
Menopause
Menopause occurs after periods have ceased for over 12 months in women who are over 45 years. Menopause symptoms can persist for years after the periods have stopped.
Many women benefit from hormone replacement therapy (HRT) during perimenopause or after menopause.
Estrogen and progesterone hormones work in many systems of the body.
In particular 80% of post-menopausal women experience progressive genitourinary syndrome of menopause with symptoms of vaginal dryness, pain, low libido, or recurrent urinary tract infections which can be supported with hormone replacement therapy including testosterone.
Hormones & lifestyle both play an important role in weight gain.
Our approach to weight loss is to help support you with a combination of weight loss medications, lifestyle medicine and optimal hormonal health.
We focus on building healthy habits and functional strong bodies and will help you live the life you want to & do the activities that bring you joy & pleasure.
Our initial weight loss program is 12 weeks & you work alongside an experienced clinician & health coach and personal trainor to help you acheive the best results.
We promote body positivity and health at every size.

Infertility has complex, multi-dimensional causes that we investigate and manage with a broad lens, considering both partners' biology, hormones, lifestyle and environmental factors as well as stressors, and emotional impact.
Our integrative treatment is focused on using nutrition, mind body medicine, evidence-based herbal/supplements, lifestyle interventions and conventional medications where indicated. We also work with couples to optimise their health prior to conception
Sexual health is an important aspect of wellbeing for many people. We don't shy away from difficult conversations and take a holistic approach to sexual health and work with clients with a wide range of conditions including:
-
Recurrent bacterial vaginosis/ vaginal thrush/ vaginal dysbiosis, recurrent urinary tract infections.
-
Improving sexual function: sexual pain, low desire/libido, low pleasure, difficulties with orgasm.
-
Chronic pelvic pain
Sleep, rest, recovery and bonding for mama are so important in the early days of the post-natal period.
We advocate all mamas see a pelvic physio to rehab their pelvic floor and core muscles to support them to get back to their pre-pregnancy activity.
We work with mamas impacted by the hormonal lows post-partum and during breast feeding, support this with body identical hormones.
We also support post-partum nutrient depletion with dietary and nutritional support.
